Despite the 11-nautical-mile distance from Lagos, we’ve created an experience that takes you along the coast to Carvoeiro and Benagil. This allows access to several caves in the area that are not reachable by larger means. After all, we don’t want you to miss the Benagil Cave just because of a few extra miles.
Departing from Lagos, it takes about 30 minutes to travel the 11 nautical miles (approximately 20 km) to Benagil. The return trip to Lagos can be less comfortable in the afternoon on days with strong northerly winds, so we always recommend more sensitive guests choose the morning schedule.

We do not refund cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure. For cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance, we issue a full refund.
This activity may be affected by weather and sea conditions. Ocean View may, in case of bad weather or uncomfortable sea conditions, cancel the trip, offering a full refund or rescheduling for another time.
