One of the most iconic caves in the world — the Benagil Cave. The Benagil Cave is only accessible from the sea.

Despite the 11-nautical-mile distance from Lagos, we’ve created an experience that takes you along the coast to Carvoeiro and Benagil. This allows access to several caves in the area that are not reachable by larger means. After all, we don’t want you to miss the Benagil Cave just because of a few extra miles.

Departing from Lagos, it takes about 30 minutes to travel the 11 해상 마일 (approximately 20 km) to Benagil. The return trip to Lagos can be less comfortable in the afternoon on days with strong northerly winds, so we always recommend more sensitive guests choose the morning schedule.
