To make the most of this unique location, we’ve created a special sunrise experience that takes you along the coast to Carvoeiro and Benagil. Early morning is the perfect time to explore these incredible rock formations, with calmer waters, fewer crowds, and the golden light of dawn illuminating the caves.
Departing from Lagos, the journey covers 11 nautical miles (approximately 20 km) and takes around 30 minutes. Morning conditions are typically more comfortable, making this the ideal time for a relaxed and unforgettable visit to one of Portugal’s most breathtaking natural landmarks.
